Editing Session Five

Today we went to do our fifth editing session for our music video. However, it wasn't a very long session as it was during lunch when the class where the iMacs was empty, this meant we only had around 40 minutes to edit. We uploaded the remainder of the footage so that we had all that we needed to make the music video for us on the Macs and could finally complete the video. All of the footage was not landscape which matched up as last time we had both landscape an portrait which didn't flow and looked extremely unprofessional. Most of this editing session was placing the footage in order and cutting them so that they weren't too long and could cut out the bits which we didn't want in the video, we did this by using the blade tool on the editing software. I did the most of this as I am fast with using the blade tool and was able to quickly crop the clips and drag them in an order to which I knew they needed to be in with the help from Eboni and Adam.

The second thing that we did was take out the volume of all the footage. The reason that we did this was because if we had left them on then we would have been able to hear it and it would have clashed with the non-diagetic music which we had placed in. We did this by dragging down the volume on the bottom of all the footage clips.
